It has been designed specifically to raise money for the Olympic team and its support network of sports associations, following a development process that has lasted seven years.
How Will The Game Work?
Win for Italia Team will be a daily game, with draws taking place at 20:00 CET. You will be required to pick six numbers from a range of 1 to 40, at a cost of €2 per play.
A minimum jackpot of €2 million has been set for the first draw, and this will keep rolling over until someone wins. There will be five prize categories in total, starting from ‘Match 2’ and going up to ‘Match 6’. A portion of the prize money is allocated to each category.
The game will be available at all of Sisal’s 35,000 retail points, as well as online platforms.
Contributing to Sporting Success
Speaking at a launch event to announce the start of the game, CONI President Luciano Buonfiglio said there were also plans to associate numbers with Italian athletes, Olympic sports and major events in the future.
He explained: “Not all young athletes are well known in the media, and our objective is to ensure that people get to know them. We are not talking about betting. This is a lottery that allows everyone to contribute to our sporting movement and the success of our athletes.”
For Sisal, it is the revival of a historic connection between the operator and sports funding. Games such as SuperEnalotto also raise money across a range of other programmes, including education, art and culture, and science, whereas Win for Italia Team will generate funds purely for the country’s Olympic and Paralympic endeavours.
Sisal CEO Roberto Di Fonzo said: “We are providing the strength of our network, our capacity for innovation and the experience gained over time to provide concrete and continuous support to the Italian Olympic movement, helping to promote its growth, competitiveness and values.”
It is expected to be a popular game with players, as it provides the opportunity to contribute to sporting success in Italy even if you miss out on the great prizes on offer. Keep up to date with the Win for Italia Team results as soon as the game launches, and in the meantime you can continue to enjoy SuperEnalotto draws every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening.
