SuperEnalotto News for October 4th, 2011
In last week’s news, we discussed how somebody finally won the massive SuperEnalotto jackpot following its continuous growth. An anonymous person from the Italian town of Gubbio won €65 million ($87.4 million) after matching the correct numbers. Unfortunately, we didn’t have any big winners last week, but there were certainly plenty of people taking home the smaller prizes:
On Tuesday, September 27th, 2011, the winning SuperEnalotto numbers were 18-28-35-52-57-75. The Jolly number was 83, while the SuperStar number was 68. Exactly one week prior to this drawing, 83 and 68 were drawn as the Jolly and SuperStar number, which is a trend worth keeping in mind. Moving to the winners, 41,352 people matched three numbers to earn €18.23, and 1,183 players matched four numbers to win a €318.69 prize. In addition to this, 16 players chose five correct numbers to win €23,563.
On Thursday, September 29th, 2011, winning SuperEnalotto digits were 11-26-41-45-75-77; the Jolly number was 46, while the SuperStar number was 60. Following this drawing, both 45 and 75 had been selected five times in September. As for winners, 44,527 players matched three numbers to earn a €16.81 payout, 1,215 players chose four correct numbers to win €308.10, and 10 people matched five numbers to win €37,435.
On Saturday, October 1st, 2011, the winning lottery numbers were 3-5-13-54-58-85. The Jolly number was 90, and the SuperStar number was 24. Going back to September 3rd, both 3 and 5 were the first two numbers selected in that SuperEnalotto drawing. Getting to the prizes, 73,359 players made €12.76 after matching three numbers, and 2,265 people matched four numbers to earn €206.68. Also, 28 people won €16,719 after matching 5 numbers – which in the world of the SuperEnalotto is quite a rarity, to witness such a large number of people win the five-number prize.
The next SuperEnalotto drawing will be held on Tuesday October 4th, 2011, and the jackpot will be worth around €20,000,000.
