How do you win SuperEnalotto?
SuperEnalotto is a pari-mutuel lottery, which means that the jackpot available for winners depends on how many tickets have been bought and is equal to 34.648% of money taken. Each prize division receives a share of the jackpot, with this share being split between all the winners in the division. The prize divisions and the percentage of the jackpot allocated to each one, to be divided by the number of SuperEnalotto winners, are as follows:
If there are no players matching all six main numbers, then the prize money from that division is rolled over to the next game. If there are no winners matching 5 numbers plus the Jolly number, then 50% of the division's prize money is added to the match-6 jackpot in the following game with the remaining 50% being put aside to increase the match-6 jackpot for the game following the game in which the prize for the first division is awarded.
How do you win SuperStar?
You win if your SuperStar number (picked by you or at random) matches the number drawn: the amount you win depends on how many numbers you correctly picked in the SuperEnalotto set (the main 6 numbers) to which the winning SuperStar is connected.
A sum equal to 50% of the total amount of money taken for SuperStar is used to pay for the prizes of that one game and any remaining funds are put into a Reserve Fund, managed by Sisal.
The amount set aside in this Fund, including interest paid, is used to:
- Supplement winnings in the event that the jackpot for a given game is not big enough to cover all the winnings;
Increase resources for instant prizes.
The Superstar winning divisions
For each of these two divisions, if several players win, the amount of the corresponding SuperBonus is shared equally between the players, as with SuperEnalotto prizes.
For the 5-star division, if several players win, the amount of the corresponding prize is shared equally between the players, as with SuperEnalotto prizes.
If, once the amounts for instant prizes and SuperBonuses for a given game have been deducted, the sum of the remaining jackpot and of the share of the Reserve Fund are not sufficient to pay scored prizes as provided for in paragraph 11 of the official rules, the amount of this prize is calculated by sharing the aforementioned sum as follows:
