SuperEnalotto Jackpot Is the Second-Largest in History

The SuperEnalotto jackpot has climbed higher than €180 million, putting it second on the all-time list of biggest prizes.

The jackpot has been growing for almost a year now, having most recently been won in May 2021. On that occasion, a player from Montappone in Ferme, Marche, won €156 million.

It reset to €31 million in the following draw and has been building ever since. The jackpot soared into nine figures in October and has been moving up the top 10 over the past few months.

The current jackpot is now larger than the €177 million that was won by a syndicate from Milan in Lombardy in October 2010. The Milan win stood as the SuperEnalotto record for almost a decade, until a ticket holder from Lodi landed €209 million in August 2019.

It could now be that the record is broken within the next couple of months, if the jackpot keeps rolling.

There is no limit to how high the SuperEnalotto jackpot can go. It will continue to grow until someone matches all the winning numbers, so it could reach a far bigger amount than €209 million. Eurojackpot, by contrast, has a cap for how high the top prize can go, which has recently been increased from €90 million to €120 million.

SuperEnalotto draws take place every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, so the jackpot will keep climbing every couple of days until it gets won.

You can play online or by going to an authorised retailer in Italy, and remember to check the SuperEnalotto Results after every draw to find out if you are a winner.
