Biggest SuperEnalotto Jackpot Winners
SuperEnalotto holds the record for the largest jackpot paid out in Europe by any lottery, with a single winning ticket collecting €209.1 million on Tuesday 13th August, 2019. The record sum was won on a ticket bought in Lodi, Lombardy, beating the previous record of €177.7 million – held by a syndicate of 70 players from Milan – by €32 million. The prize was claimed anonymously.
The same jackpot also overtook the record for the largest SuperEnalotto prize claimed by an individual, which was previously held by a player from Vibo Valentia, who won a jackpot of €163.5 million on Thursday 27th October, 2016. On that occasion, the winner not only matched the six main SuperEnalotto numbers, but also the SuperStar to increase their prize by €2 million, overcoming odds of 1 in 56 billion.
