SuperEnalotto Jackpot of €66 Million Won in Parma

SuperEnalotto Jackpot of €66 Million Won in Parma

The SuperEnalotto jackpot has been won for the second time in the space of five weeks after a player landed €66 million in the draw on Tuesday 17th September. The winning ticket was sold in Montechiarugolo in the province of Parma.

Winning SuperEnalotto Numbers

Tuesday’s winning numbers were 9, 18, 26, 43, 60 and 79, along with a Jolly of 57 and a SuperStar of 35. There were over 440,000 prizes won altogether, but only one entry matched all six main numbers. See more information about Tuesday’s results, including a full prize breakdown.

It later emerged that the winning entry cost just €5 and included five combinations. It was sold in a tobacconist in Montechiarugolo, on the via Parma 61 which links Parma to Reggio Emilia. There have now been 13 jackpots won in Emilia Romagna, making it one of the most successful regions for big winners.

The mayor of Montechiarugolo was quick to congratulate the winner, suggesting that the lucky player might even like to make a contribution to the local community. Daniele Friggeri said: “It’s really incredible - great news. Unfortunately, I didn’t win, but I hope it is someone from the area and it is someone who really needs it and makes good use of it. A small percentage could be donated to the municipality for the safety of public buildings and our cultural centre. If they wanted to contribute, we would be really grateful.”

There has been no word yet about the winner of Tuesday’s eight-figure prize. They have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim the money, giving them until 16th December to come forward.

Two Big Jackpots In Two Months

Tuesday’s win ranks as the 14th largest jackpot to have ever been paid out in the 22-year history of SuperEnalotto, just over a month after the biggest of all was given away. A player from Lodi won a record jackpot of €209 million on Tuesday 13th August.

The jackpot reset to €50 million after last month’s win because a percentage of the prize money is kept aside every time there is not a winner and there had been over a year’s worth of rollovers before 13th August.

As the most recent jackpot had only been rolling over for five weeks, the top prize for the next draw will be lower at an estimated €5.7 million. You can take part by visiting any authorised retailer in Italy or playing online.
